Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ticketeur, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any applicable policies referenced within them.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Event Ticketeur Limited (“Ticketeur”, “we”, “us”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not access or use the Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to create an account or purchase tickets.

  • Legal capacityYou confirm you have the legal capacity to enter binding agreements.

  • Age requirementsWhere law requires a higher minimum age, guardians must complete purchases on behalf of minors.

  • Restricted partiesYou may not use the Services if you are prohibited from doing so by applicable law or by Ticketeur.

Your Ticketeur Account

Your account is the key to everything on Ticketeur — look after it like your ticket.

  • RegistrationYou must provide accurate, complete information and keep it up to date.

  • CredentialsYou are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for every action made from your account.

  • One account per personDo not create multiple accounts to game the platform or evade limits.

  • Account securityTell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Using the Platform

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Services for permitted purposes.

  • Personal useThe platform is for personal, non-commercial use unless you operate as an organizer.

  • No scrapingDo not scrape, crawl, or bulk-harvest data from the Services.

  • No automationDo not use bots or automated tools to buy tickets or interact with the platform.

  • ComplianceYou agree to comply with all applicable laws when using the Services.

Events & Event Organizers

Ticketeur provides technology that allows organizers to create, promote, and manage events. We are not the producer of those events.

  • Organizer responsibilityOrganizers are responsible for event details, schedules, venue arrangements, and every other obligation tied to their events.

  • Your diligenceReview the details and terms associated with each event before purchasing or attending.

  • Event changesOrganizers may change dates, line-ups, or formats. Ticketeur is not liable for organizer decisions.

Tickets & Bookings

A ticket is a revocable licence to attend a specific event under its specific conditions — not a certificate of value.

  • Ticket availabilityTickets are sold as available and may sell out without notice.

  • Booking confirmationA booking is complete when you receive an order confirmation with your tickets.

  • Electronic ticketsTickets are delivered digitally and must be presented as instructed at entry.

  • Event-specific termsOrganizers may attach their own conditions to a ticket. Those conditions bind you once you purchase.

Payments & Fees

Prices are shown before you confirm. We work with trusted payment processors to keep that simple and safe.

  • PricingThe total price, including fees and taxes where applicable, is displayed at checkout.

  • Payment methodsWe accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may vary by region.

  • ProcessingPayments are processed by third-party providers; Ticketeur does not store full card details.

  • Declined paymentsIf a payment fails, we may hold or cancel the booking and notify you.

Cancellations & Refunds

Refund rights are event-specific. Read the event's policy before you buy.

  • Event policiesEach organizer sets their own cancellation and refund rules.

  • Organizer cancellationsIf an organizer cancels an event, we facilitate the refund or credit options the organizer provides.

  • Processing timeApproved refunds are returned to the original payment method within the timeframe stated at checkout.

  • Statutory rightsNothing in these Terms reduces rights you hold under mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction.

Transfers & Resale

Tickets are personal to you. Transfer and resale are only permitted where the event allows it.

  • TransfersTransferring a ticket to another named attendee may be allowed through the platform where the organizer permits it.

  • ResaleReselling tickets outside the platform, at inflated prices, or in violation of an event's rules is prohibited.

  • Suspicion of fraudWe may void tickets we reasonably believe were obtained through fraud, scalping, or bots.

User Content

You own the content you post. You grant Ticketeur a licence to make it work on the platform.

  • What you postEvent listings, descriptions, images, reviews, and other content you submit.

  • Licence you grantA worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Services.

  • RepresentationsYou confirm your content does not infringe the rights of others.

  • ModerationWe may remove content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or the law.

Acceptable Use

Use Ticketeur in good faith. The prohibited behaviours below are examples — not an exhaustive list.

  • No fraudulent eventsCreating fake or deceptive event listings is grounds for immediate removal.

  • No impersonationDo not misrepresent who you are or your affiliation with an organizer, brand, or person.

  • No ticket misuseDo not counterfeit, resell improperly, or operate ticket-scalping schemes.

  • No interferenceDo not disrupt the platform, its security, or other users' experience.

  • No harmful contentDo not upload malware, hateful material, or anything unlawful.

  • No unauthorized accessDo not attempt to breach accounts, systems, or networks.

  • No deception or exploitationDo not use Ticketeur to deceive, exploit, or harm others.

Intellectual Property

Ticketeur's brand, software, and platform remain ours.

  • Our IPAll rights in the Services, including trademarks, logos, and software, belong to Ticketeur and its licensors.

  • Your contentYou retain ownership of content you submit, as described in Section 10.

  • FeedbackFeedback you share may be used to improve the Services; you grant a non-exclusive licence to use it for that purpose.

Third-Party Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services, including payment providers and venue systems. Those services have their own terms, and Ticketeur is not responsible for them or their content.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

  • No guaranteesWe do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that events will run as described.

  • Organizer contentEvent listings are provided by organizers; Ticketeur does not endorse or verify every claim.

  • Consumer protectionWhere jurisdiction law provides warranties that cannot be excluded, they are not excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ticketeur is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

  • Aggregate capOur total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid Ticketeur in the previous twelve months or a nominal statutory amount where required.

  • EventsWe are not liable for organizer decisions, event cancellations, or venue issues.

  • Mandatory rightsThis section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ticketeur and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, losses, or expenses — including legal fees — arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or content you submit.

Termination

  • Your rightYou may stop using the Services and close your account at any time.

  • Our rightWe may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, suspicious activity, or where required by law.

  • EffectSections concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, and indemnification survive termination.

Changes to These Terms

Ticketeur may update these Terms when necessary — for new features, legal requirements, or operational changes.

  • NotificationSignificant changes are announced through appropriate channels, such as email or in-app notice.

  • Continued useContinued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

  • VersioningEach version carries a LAST UPDATED date so you can always find what changed.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that disputes within the mandatory scope of domestic courts are subject to the exclusive or non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, as applicable law requires.

Individual event organizers are responsible for event-specific details, schedules, venue arrangements, and other event obligations.

Tickets are offered as available and may sell out at any time. Showing a event on Ticketeur never guarantees a seat.

The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, unless a fee is added for your payment method or region.

Where applicable, taxes and service fees are itemized before you confirm your purchase. You will always see the total first.

Whether a ticket is refundable depends on the event's own policy and the stage of your booking. Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible.
